About Me



My name is Gerard Dijkers, a professional photographer, and I strive to capture the world that GOD has created, through photographic art.


Retiring from manufacturing consulting several years ago, I have since pursued and expanded my passion of photography full time. I come from a very artistic family,  with my parents having met and graduating with masters degrees at the St. Joost School of Art & Design in the city of Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. My older sister, Ingrid Dijkers-White, is well established in many diverse artistic endeavors (www.ingriddijkers.com). My younger sister, Patricia Dijkers-Kidd, is an internationally recognized sculptor and fine artist as well.


I have been married for 40 years now. The family continues to grow as I have 3 daughters, 1 son, 2 son-in-laws, 1 daughter-in-law, 5 grand sons, and 2 grand daughters.


I believe that ultimately we have all been created to bring glory to GOD. I want to do that! Do I fail? Yes, I do, daily. It is a struggle. Recognizing GOD's love for

me despite me being a dirty rotten vile sinner, keeps me moving forward, striving to serve HIM, not out of obligation, but out of my returned love To HIM. I want you to experience that same kind of joy that I experience.
